You fumble and cease the loud beeping from your phone and reluctantly drag yourself out of bed, turn on the lights and grab your toiletries.
Screw breakfast, check that you have everything, brush back your hair to look at least presentable. Then off to the bus you walk.
Take extra caution going down that slope now, you don't want to bust your knee again like last time.
Remember to wait patiently for the cars and not jaywalk your way across, you've had enough "almost accidents".
Man, you really need to work on that stamina, breathless just from that small slope. Weak.
You're halfway there, and you've still got plenty of time, good job.
Now chill at the bus stop with your phone and wait for the bus.
Oh! It's here, make sure to move in front so you get a seat.
Doze off the entire bus ride, don't make your nodding too obvious though!
Now try to stay awake!
You're here to study! Not sleep.
I know it's hard but I don't know, drink more water or something.
EAT!
Fine, you can distract yourself with tumblr BUT only if you're also listening at the same time.
Good girl.
Go have some lunch and social for a while, I know you like being alone sometimes, but you still got to talk to people.
Yes yes, you miss your girls, sometimes you just have to make do without some things in life because it isn't fair ok?
Now, stop thinking about all the people you miss!
Noooo, that means no day dreaming about them either.
Good, now go to the lab and finish your assignments.
HEYYY, did I SAY you could watch youtube?
OR facebook or ANYTHING??!
Great look at what you've achieved during all that free time, NOTHING.
Move your butt and go for that tutorial.
Well at least the tutorial was interesting and the tutor even finished class early, now rush to catch that bus home!
Ah...rain.
You can stare out of the window alright but please don't daydream into your emoland.
I SAID GET BACK HERE
Too late.
You're already staring at the rain droplets chasing each other down the window. Great.
And "chasing cars" is playing mentally in your head.
Even better.
Here, let me add some flash backs for you.
Well done, you've fully immersed yourself in your self created emoland.
The sky just adds perfectly to your mood doesn't it?
Drizzling, the sky turning all dark from the night...
Perfect emo weather.
I see you're looking around if there's people around you eh?
I knew it, you want to sing depressing songs now.
Go on, go on.
Just a few more steps and you'll be back in the safe confines of your room.
AAAAAAAAND touchdown.
The internet is still your best distraction.

Howdy
It's been almost a year since I last wrote a blog post here.
I'm so sorry to anyone who was actually waiting to read more posts of mine =P
Remember how I wrote about my experience in uni? Yeah, I'm already more than halfway done with my degree.
It's still mind blowing to me everyday, and leaves me scared shitless.
Lots of things have changed since my last blog post.
From relationships to where I'm currently living even.
I decided to go on an exchange program that's provided under my university and so here I am in the land down under =P (thus the title =P)
Ah yes, missed my overuse of emoticons? =P
My friend purplemist's recent posts resparked my interest in blogging =P
Oh and not to mention I actually have to write "blog posts" for one of my units this semester ==
Let's all hope I've got more "interesting" blabber to write about here =P
It's mostly just for my entertainment really

Annoying bottles
You guys might wander why bottles would be annoying.
They are EVIL I tell you EVIL.
Especially when they're clear bottles, "so near yet so far" applies superbly here.
You just DESPERATELY want that drink you bought just now but it won't BUDGE!
You try scraping the cap ring with a pair of scissors. Sure, sheds of plastic come falling off but to no avail.
AHA! Everyone knows about the cloth on cap move right? To increase friction etc?
*tries*
RAWRRRRRRRR NOTHING WILL TURN.
By now your hand should be a sore, red mess.
You proceed to google your way.
Then you gotta click on the relevant bloody websites. With irrelevant and relevant info.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(god dammit I edited this post before I tracked down when I actually started writing this)
Anyways, THAT was what I had started writing LOOOOOOOOOOONG long time ago.
Like, at least 2 months ago.
Sowwwwwy guys, uni just kills/noms up all of my time.
And truthfully I've been on my 3 and a half month "summer" break since mid November
*awh yeah*
but was busy meeting up with friends/interning every weekday and all.
Yup, I just finished my first year and I'm already busy interning in my home town, still waiting for another internship opportunity in my home country for next month =D
My holiday is supppppppper action packed/ going to make me busy like heck.
Lots of travelling involved again =)
But yea, let's do some catching up with what I've been up to =D
So uni yadeeyadah, assignments bladebla, EXAMS!!!, *stress stress stress*, DONE!, Booyah!, back home, FWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENZ, *nom on delicious food*, *ermehgerd I'm gaining back all the weight*, *interns every day while trying not to fall aslp from boredom since there's nothing for me to do most of the time*.
Basically that was what happened siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiince July =P
Oh and got my results back last Sunday =D
*Passed everything**lalalalala**jumps around like a maniac*
Oh and since I've been back I've watched so many movies =D
Went to watch Breaking Dawn Part II (don't judge, I know I told you about my twilight obsession LONG long time ago but that has ended. Have to say though, I went in without any expectations and was pretty surprised, in a delightfully way actually. The trolling was epic =P), watched Pitch perfect <3 an="an" and="and" animation="animation" be="be" bunneh="bunneh" character="P). </p" cute="cute" frost="frost" guardians="guardians" is="is" jack="jack" of="of" rise="rise" so="so" the="the" way.too.handsome.to="way.too.handsome.to">In my spare time I watched Princess Mononoke too =D (Studio Ghibli fans anyone?) I ship them two so much! =D She's so friggin badass BUT my favourite character? Gotta be that red elk =P
hahahha
I still really wanna watch Life of Pi (for many reasons =P which I'm not going to disclose =P) but mainly bcz I've heard LOTS of positive reviews of it, especially how stunning it is. Oh and Wreck it ralph bcz all my classmates were super hyped about it and were NOT let down by it, heard that the lil girl was pretty cute too... Oh oh oh! And especially after I found out paperman was shown before it (tumblr hyped that up for me pretty much)
Oh, took Flash as one of my electives this semester so I bought a tablet to help me draw =D
Not that good of a drawer but I had quite a lot of fun using it =)3>
(of course players had to be subjected to my lame humour when they "died" =P)
(yea... my game was a zombie apocalypse based one =P)
I always end up writing a lot of crap on my posts eh? Let me continue the original topic =P
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You read through all the god damn websites and try a bunch of methods.
From knocking the bottle cap, to poking a hole in the thick plastic.
Just when you're about to give up from trying, you see this one other method. Hot water.
Thinking it's your last go, you reluctantly get up from your chair and go fill your cup with hot water, and stick the bottle cap into the cup.
Few seconds later, you decide to give it a final try, and twist.
VOILA! IT WORKED. ERMAHGERD it effing worked!
You rejoice andspin around in a circle as if you're in an effing meadow finally take a heavenly sip from that bottle and it tastes.delicious.
Not only are plastic bottles a pain in the ass, but those pesty metal covered glass ones too.
What happened? This actually happened before the plastic case, went to a convenience store, bought a soya bean which was in a glass bottle. I figured I may as well enjoy it in my room after a couple of hours and so tell the cashier not to uncap it for me, since I had a bottle opener/keychain thingy in my room.
The time comes, I'm feeling like it's soya bean time. *Grabs the bottle from the fridge* *Digs and finds my keychain*
*Aims the teeth thingy towards the bottle.*
Shit.
They didn't fit.
The keychain teeth opening was too small for the bottle of the neck.
I tried guys, I tried D=
And so I turned to Google again (Google should deserve plenty of hugs from me)
Many methods came out to me again, from using KNIVES to cut the damn thing open, to spoons, to table edges, anything you can think of.
Mind you, I tried with my fingers too. It hurt, and it's so hard to grasp onto slippery glass bottles.
If my memory serves me well *stupid memory* I got it open after half an hour or so.
How? With a pair of friggin scissors.
AAAAAAAAAAND it spilled in the process. On my floor, on my slippers, on my feet, on my table (and the stuff on the table)
I didn't know whether to be happy or sad.
Anyways, wiped the mess away (it still smelled sticky sweet after it was gone) and proceeded to drink the darn drink.
Meh, wasn't worth it.
Warning: These two drinks made my hands horribly red and sore while tiring/frustrated me to no end.
<3
PS. Oh and guys? Remember how many times I've mentioned P4a? Project for Awesome the charity?3>
Yup, it's happening again this year =)
This year (2012) will be the 6th annual project for awesome =D
*awh yeah*
Head on to www.projectforawesome.com for more info =)
PPS.I really should redesign my page eh?*so lazy* *flops onto the ground*

Fun things to do =D (aka Procrastination time =D)
Didn't know what to write about any more after my last post. Sooooo here's a bunch of links that I've accumulated in my "favourites" for a while now =)
Let's start with something more stimulating eh?
I didn't know it was a colour game until I clicked on it. It MIGHT sound boring "what the hecks a colour game" but oh no, when there's time constraints everything just becomes THAT much more exciting and panicky. It gets harder and harder by the level. Go on, click on it =)
This website might take a while to load but it's totally worth it, the music it makes in the end can totally be used to listen to whilst studying or something. Not to mention it's pretty fun to look at all the animation and jumble everything together mindlessly BUT still produce awesome mixes.
The next two following websites might be more "girlish"
Yup, from the URL you might have guessed it's a "dress up" game =P
But seriously, it's a pretty well drawn one, with hipster clothing instead =P
This website is totally awesome too, it's a blog website where lots of ppl submit posts abt all sorts of topics. Give it a read, it's not only for girls, guys too.
Next, this is a text based game.
So no shooting, no pressing of keys.
It's TOTALLY AWESOME =P
I sent it to my classmates just now and they've been playing since and have already tried out lots of different outcomes.
Go test it too! Let me know your score when/if you beat it. Every time you play you'll get a new scenario and it's not 100% that you can get out alive/survive. (Btw, yes it's a zombie apocalypse survival game)
These last 3 websites are for relaxing purposes.
When you're feeling too stressed, want to let your thoughts out, make your brain rest or just listen to calming music. Head on to these three websites:
I hope you guys will enjoy these websites (I know some of you must have already tried or heard of these websites.)
Tell me what you think about them in the comments =)

Crowded places
You know the feeling. Where everyone is packed together, balls of heat sweating and nudging past you every second. Trying to hold onto your bags and belongings as to not be pick pocketed or robbed whilst also trying to remain in contact with your family and friends who came with you. The epitome of paranoia. And the #1 rule, "Avoid touching or being in contact with people at all costs" what you gotta do? Is basically BE A NINJA
The Night Market
This is an adventure on it's own.
You have to dodge people's food that they're holding onto and oh the dreaded kids with ice cream melting in their hands, the perfect candidate to smack the creamy goodness onto your shirt.
There's also those people that just LOVE to nudge pass you no matter the space available, even better when they have huge bags that swipe you the second time. Can't you see the bloody path beside you!?
And then there's the people who you just stare in awe, in awe of how long they are willing to wait to purchase a certain "oh-so-famous" dish because it was tried by some "oh-so-famous" celebrity/tv show.
The MRT/Bus
Lining up for cabins is like a leap of faith. It's much too late to switch lanes/cabins to enter when the MRT finally stops and lets you in and so you eitherRUN FOR YOUR LIFE scurry to another cabin or dive your head into the mass of people who are also squeezing into that cabin. (Tip: Always line up for the cabin furthest away from the station opening as people tend to get lazy to walk that far. However, don't do that if you're only going for a stop/the MRT is about to leave)
While TRYING to get to a specific MRT line, (especially in a central station) you got to be a ninja. Remember to dodge, twist, turn and leap through the gaps of people. Imagine you're in a dodge ball game and ALL the people around you are balls that are attacking you, MUST AVOID AT ALL COST (remember not to swing your arms and bags around too much as you might hit them accidentally =/ and that never ends well...)
Try and NOT fall flat on your face if you're being pulled along by a long legged person who is more than a head taller than you (my experience)
Use your brain. (this happened to my dad) There's always "Professional liars/cheaters" that hang around on public transportation, people that bloody ask for MRT fare money from you when they are ALREADY in the MRT. (so sir, how did you get in here in the first place, if you don't already hv a ticket or those swipey cards) So they get turned down and goes on and targets another person ==
I don't know about you but I know (reminded you of Justin Bieber's song didn't it =P) my friends and I have this "3 seconds method" where you hold in your breath and don't breathe for at least 3 seconds. Why?
Because there's always sick passengers that start coughing and sneezing in the tiny space and because you're paranoid and think it'll actually work, you stop breathing once you hear it =P
Once you feel like you're dying from lack of oxygen, breathe and repeat.
There's always 2 sides of a coin (Yes, I totally got that phrase from Merlin. Merthur shippers anyone? =P)
It's when you're seated comfortably in a seat in a packed cabin, (for once) albeit far away from the doors and then here comes the dilemma. How are you supposed to crawl and squeeze your way through that crowd when it's finally your stop?
And then there's the people who sit on the outside seats of a bus but not the inside.
WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT. I mean, I guess you just prefer not to be cooped up inside and hv to be pressed in by some random stranger but it's really irritating and time consuming when piles of people are boarding the bus and everyone has to gather up their bags and squeeze through your legs as to get into the inside seat, when there's still a whole line of ppl waiting behind to get in the bus to begin with!
Seat hogger.
<3
PS.(Remember those times I promised blog posts? Yeah this was one of them =P See! I'm actually making an effort to write =P)

Oh Uni life
It's horribly ironic how even though I'm studying IT I don't have any time to blog at all isn't it?
Why am I blogging right now? You guessed right, I freaking finally finished my first sem as of yesterday
*woot woot, throws confetti*
Yesterday was my last paper, and all I have to say is, I JUST WANT TO PASS
Yeah... it's like 4K to retake ONE unit @-@
Anyyyways.
This is just going to be a post about the stuff that has happened to me/learnt in uni I guess.
-It's always hard to remember a tonne of ppl's names when you first get there and you never know what to do when people ask for your number, so you just end up giving it to them...
-Lots of avoiding happened... let's just say... I somehow get a lot of male attention there. It's not like it's just from guys who are in the school of IT (yes, there's a serious shortage of girls in my faculty) but it's also from guys who are in the BUSINESS school... blah.
-And because of that, I become really paranoid and think a lot about different situations which I don't know how to handle because this has never happened to me in my home town (Oh and did I mention I have a super strict mother?)
-I have to think about what the heck I'm supposed to eat. EVERY. SINGLE. MEAL. and dang, is it not tiring and time consuming.(Especially when you don't have a car and you have finals to worry about and you're dying from stress but you're still procrastinating and chatting to class mates on skype)
-That text books are only useful to you during finals.
-I tried friggin bacon ice cream =D
-I only swam once in the swimming pool and never touched the gym equipment in the gym
-I caught a gecko.
-The Starbucks in the uni is full of evil insect creatures.
-That, even though uni finals is very stressful and such, I'm also glad that I went through with it. Why? I feel like it's brought me and my class mates much closer.
We talk on skype every night, we go to uni to "study" together every weekday (sometimes even weekends), we go out to eat lunch together, we give each other nicknames, talk about how we don't feel like studying and how we're going to fail a subject.
I guess that's just the spirit of school sometimes. Spending time with friends was always the best part of uni, it wasn't the part where you had to be stressed about assignments or exams, but the part where you can stress about it TOGETHER with other people we have the same interests as you.
That's also something I've gained from uni. Even on the first week I joined uni, I felt so "in place", I felt like I've finally found a place where people understood the stuff I was referring to.
I mean, I spend LOADS of time on the internet, places like youtube and tumblr. It's always so fun when people reply to your conversations with "okay.jpg" or "you don't say" and watch youtube videos together. Or show each other viral videos that the other hasn't seen.
It's always refreshing walking around on campus sometimes too, there's ALWAYS a meme post up on the notice board somewhere. I once even freaking saw a "I believe in Sherlock" poster with those pieces of paper you can rip off? After I checked out the code on the paper, it directed me to a Sherlock tumblr page =)
That's what I love about the internet too, I don't understand/know the fandom but it always feels like you're in a secret club that no one understands.
Basically, even though I'm SUPER glad that I'm getting a one month uni break, I think I'm going to miss uni too.
Just not the bit where I have 5 more semesters to go and that means 5 more semesters worth of lectures/tutorials/labs to sit through, 5 more semesters worth of assignments and homework, 5 more semesters of finals to worry about D=
Doesn't mean I haven't missed my home town though. All the time I was in uni, I'd have a sudden urge of wanting to hug my dog or miss hanging out with my high school friends.
I guess this is just a part of growing up?
Growing up is always hard isn't it?
<3
Ps. I'm HOPING to getting back to blogging during my holidays, no promises though =P

Changes
Why have I been MIA AGAIN after I promised you guys that I had loads of stuff to write about?
* I just checked, wow only a month? =P*
After I came back from my home country and went back to my home town I moved again. *I'm a busy person*
But yeah, I just entered UNIIIIII. (Yes, if anyone who's reading this is American, I graduated from College (grade 12?) and now I'm in University which somehow you guys call College...)
Adjustments?
It's alright I guess, some of my housemates are really nice, we cook pretty often together and chat and such.
Where as there's like two who don't really talk and keep to themselves quite a lot...
Even though I'm only in my 2nd week of uni, I've been feeling the stress of the work load since day one. Since my seniors are pretty scary about it =P
Yup, my degree is in Information Technology because guess what? Yes, I'm obsessed with the internet so I decided to learn more about it =P
I'll try to write my posts soon! When I finally DON'T procrastinate...
My excuse is I don't have wifi in my hostel and I use my measly broadband every day like it's sacred.
So now I either camp out at starbucks or the school campus =P To leach off of their wifi =D

Everyone can donate. (The poorboy's edition)
I know we're not all "heartless freaks" who don't sympathise and aren't willing to help people who are less fortunate than us.
But most of us just don't have the financial ability to donate money out of our own pockets right?
Either because you're on a tight situation or because you're merely a student, everyone has their own reasons and problems.
During the last P4a (2011) I found out a way to donate to charities without paying a penny.
http://www.tabforacause.org/home.htm
Basically, all you have to do is install it into your browser, and whenever you open a tab, it donates money!
Easy as that. AND you can customize it however you want. You can choose where to donate the money to (from the charities they're involved with) and you can also choose how many times the web page pops up and stuff. (More details on the website)
Seriously, give it a try.
Not sure if you guys already know this website but it's a website called http://freerice.com/
You just play educative games, the more you play the quizzes (though you must answer correctly) the more rice they donate. You can choose the level and the subject to play from.
<3
Ps. I really need to motivate myself to post more, I have all these ideas written down but I've procrastinated so much that I haven't written them into blog posts yet =P

Archway of DOOM mcgloom.
For anyone who has remotely any experience with travelling by air, they must have been through the metal detectors, or what I call the "archway of doom mcgloom" (no, I don't really call it that)
This "re-enactment" might only apply to airports outside of the US...
Lining up to go through it, your head is already thinking about all the procedures you have to do in a rush when it's your turn. (as to not make the people behind you wait- travelling already makes people cranky to begin with.)
To take out that laptop of yours from your backpack, put it in an empty tray (which are usually occupied), take out all your change, your phone, your watch etc. and you walk through the ARCHWAY OF DOOM mcgloom. Hoping and praying that the blasted thing doesn't go off and start beeping like mad and making you feel like a criminal.
You walk through the detector and guess what!?
Of course, the thing starts flashing red and screaming
You go backwards and start taking off your jacket and put it through, thinking it must have been the huge metal buttons on them, and step right through again. To which the detector responds with the most obnoxious beeping and flashing.
So you give up and go up to be patted down with scrutinizing eyes, and left alone after they don't find anything suspicious on you.
It's only after you pack up your stuff and leave the station, when you've finally guessed up what might have triggered the sensors.
a) your rings
b) your ear rings.

Weird lyrics/rhymes
(This is interpretation from what I know of- I may be wrong)
-Pumped up kicks
-Ring a ring o' roses
-Love the way you lie
-London bridge is falling down
-Jack and Jill
-Humpty dumpty
-Rock a bye baby
-Three blind mice
-Probably all the panic at the disco lyrics
-Bohemian rhapsody
-Barbra Streisand duck sauce
-It's raining it's pouring.
Yeah... nursery rhymes are pretty darn dark and depressing... Totally not suitable for children. HOWEVER, I remember when I was a child and when chanting these rhymes... I never understood? what I was saying... or that I didn't know the full verse for it... so yeah...
I just went on tumblr and researched some more... there's A LOT more of these creepy nursery rhymes... what with Georgie Porgey raping girls... the lady bug's house burning while her children dies in it...
Oh and, I wrote a guest post for Purplemist whilst she went back to her hometown and she just posted it =) Click here to read.
<3
PS. I know my header sucks... haven't had the time to come up with a better one... and I feel like changing my background too but too lazy =P We'll see.
PPS. I'm going back to MY hometown next week so I don't know when I shall be able to update. So for now BAIBAIBAIBAIBAIBAI
-Pumped up kicks
- A song about a kid trying to shoot a bunch of people...
-Ring a ring o' roses
- It's about the plague, the "rings of roses" were meant to be a symptom of red rings or something on their wrists, a pocket full of posies were supposed to a pocket full of bloodied tissues (that they coughed up?), after sneezing, they all fall down onto the ground, dead.
-Love the way you lie
- Who likes being lied to?
-London bridge is falling down
- Why are we so happy that the bridge is falling? And remember playing it when we were younger? Why were we supposed to "trap" someone underneath the falling "bridge"? o-O Are we killing them?
-Jack and Jill
- Jack friggin broke his friggin head! And RIGHT AFTER that, JILL came tumbling down too...
-Humpty dumpty
- Nobody could fix him. He's DEAD.
-Rock a bye baby
- When the bough breaks, the cradle will fall because of it. And because of the cradle falling, the baby will fall too, WHICH MAKES THE BABY DIE!
-Three blind mice
- First off, they're already pitiful enough for being blind and guess what? The farmer's wife comes after them with a CARVING KNIFE, what else? Oh she cut off their tails.
-Probably all the panic at the disco lyrics
- They're all very catchy but they make no sense o-O There can never be a "nine in the afternoon", "your eyes are the size of the moon" may be a metaphor for something but the next line jz confuses ppl with "you could, cause you can, so you do"
- For the song "I write sins not tragedies" the title of the song doesn't really match with the lyrics, and the beginning of the song it's all about how the bride and groom are not what they seem and somehow they're marriage is saved etc... but after that... it's just a repetition of the same verse.
-Bohemian rhapsody
- Only the first part makes sense... and then I don't get it any more =P (But the song is super catchy)
-Barbra Streisand duck sauce
- There's like... no lyrics. Just "Barbra Streisand" and "ooohooohoooohooooh"s... still really catchy
-It's raining it's pouring.
- He went to bed right? BUT he bumped his head whilst doing so.... and after that? HE DIDN'T WAKE UP THE NEXT DAY. Did he DIE? Or did he go into a coma? Remember, he's an old man...
Yeah... nursery rhymes are pretty darn dark and depressing... Totally not suitable for children. HOWEVER, I remember when I was a child and when chanting these rhymes... I never understood? what I was saying... or that I didn't know the full verse for it... so yeah...

Project For Awesome 2011
Remember how I posted about stickaid in October?
Since some of you (well, actually one of you =P) asked for me to tell them about charity events ahead of time (which was dumb of me not to, sorry) I'm going to be informing you that there's another one coming up soon =D
It's called P4a. (My blog post about it from last year is linked here)
It's going to be happening on December 17th and 18th this year.
I don't have exact details about it yet, but I assume there will be a live stream going on for us to watch on youtube, like last year.
You might also find youtube will be SPAMMED with project for awesome videos on that weekend, I'm looking forward to watching A LOT of charity videos =)
You can get more info here:
www.projectforawesome.com
As of 12/12/2011 8.50pm my time, the website has not been totally updated yet.
But if you want to, (and if you're on youtube) you can pick a charity that you really support, make a video of why viewers should support that charity and donate to that charity.
It's going to be a love filled weekend for sure =)
If you're interested in participating in this project, feel free to find out about it on the website =)

I'm scared (aka the post where I try to be a hipster)
I'm scared of the dark.
I'm scared of insects.
I'm scared that I'm not good enough for my family and friends.
I'm scared that I don't live up to expectations.
I'm scared that I'm not healthy enough.
I'm scared that I'm not sporty enough.
I'm scared that I won't be able to fit in.
I'm scared people will think I'm too weird.
I'm scared that I try too much.
I'm scared that I won't be able to keep up with my classes.
I'm scared that I won't make any new friends.
I'm scared people will bully me.
I'm scared of the first day of school.
I'm scared of leaving my comfort zone.
I'm scared of not using my time wisely enough.
I'm scared of making the wrong decisions.
I'm scared of horror movies and the nightmares it brings to me.
I'm scared of getting on the wrong side of people.
I'm scared of being alone.
I'm scared of the day the world ends.
I'm scared that I'll never find a life partner.
I'm scared that I'm not smart enough.
I'm scared that I'm not pretty enough.
I'm scared of not having money.
I'm scared of death.
I'm scared of losing touch with my close friends.
I'm scared of the future.
I'm scared of how people judge me.
I'm scared of asking for too much.
I'm scared of being a spoilt brat.
I'm scared of being too bossy.
I'm scared of revealing my secrets.
I'm scared of exams.
I'm scared of confrontations.
I'm scared of strangers.
I'm scared of being stared at.
I'm scared of how people will judge my tastes.
I'm scared of people seeing through my lies.
I'm scared I'm not wanted.
I'm scared.
I'm scared.
I'm scared...
---------------------------------------------------------------
Under stress, under fear.
Trying to forget, trying to escape.
Losing hope, losing time.
In the dark, in the mind.
On the edge, on the line.
Leap of faith, leap of future.
No looking back, no regrets.
Reaching forwards, reaching the light.
In control, in design.
Spreading wings, spreading might.
Your decisions, yours to choose.
No on else's, no excuse.
Ditch the crap, ditch the sap.
Pick it up, dust it off.
Learn the lesson, it's ok.
Don't be afraid.
I hope my attempt of being "poetic" and a hipster actually worked. Was inspired somehow when I was slightly down in life a few days ago. It's ok! No more emo-ness for a while =P
This was just kind of a heart to heart pep talk with myself, I guess. I already have a new blog post idea waiting in my draft but I'll need the details for it, so I'll post it ASAP for you guys to join a charity event =)

Peeve: People being late
I kinda can. not. stand people being late for stuff that we've set a specific time to do so.
I'm a VERY punctual person =P I'm hardly late at all, and I am absolutely sure I got it from my mum.
She is the most impatient person I've ever known.
She says this to me every time I say "wait":
"I don't have the word 'wait' in my dictionary. DO IT NOW!"
yeah... picture an angry Chinese mother glaring down at me. With a spray bottle in hand. O-O
Back to the subject.
Where I live, when mailmen, plumbers, electronists (I've totally forgotten how to spell/remember the word), cable people (etc) tell you they'll be at your house at 2pm.
They'd be here at like 3...=.=
I'm so used to it now that I don't even get really pissed any more. I just go "Pft, they're late again. Of course they are."
I mean, they probably didn't purposely arrive late, they probably had something else to deal with or the last job was trickier and more time consuming to handle but I guess I just don't like when people break promises?
This rule applies to my friends too (Sorry in advance to all my "irl" friends who might be reading)
But I get REALLY fidgety and worried when someone's late for a MOVIE.
Because MOVIES DON'T WAIT FOR YOU.
And most of the time, I'm the one who has the tickets. (Though I've always had the "thought" of hiding tickets in a plant, under a bench or some hiding spot for the late person to find =P)
I'm the kind of person who likes to go into the cinema early, to be seated comfortably when the lights are still on. To be able to "enjoy" the trailers and weird/poorly done/funny adverts that show before it starts.
I hate rushing in half way through the movie and squeezing in through rows of people who are already watching in the darkness.
a) It's frustrating for the people who's enjoying the movie
b) I can't see well in the dark
c) I like watching my movies from beginning to end, thank you.
If you're not meeting up with me for anything time constrained. Then I can TOTALLY wait for you. I'm lucky enough to never have had to wait for anyone in public, for more than like half an hour?
I actually have no idea how long I'd be willing to wait for somebody, while I ramble about like a miserable loner (for which I am =P)
<3

I'm still thinking about it, I probably won't start a new project since I already have 2 in the making.
But I've been lacking writing motivation for quite a long time =P
Maybe I will, or will I be totally side tracked by youtube?

It's not like I have much to do...
I was just youtubing around and then decided to check whether there was any new blog posts for me to read aaand.
I found another one of those "have you ever" stuff.
This one is from BhadrAwr =D
Wasn't THIS another long and boring, no point post? =P
<3
PS. Anyone celebrating Halloween? If yes, what are you going to be dressed up as?
I found another one of those "have you ever" stuff.
This one is from BhadrAwr =D
I know on her blog post she says the rules are to scratch off the things you HAVE NOT done yet, but I actually think "scratching something off" is when you've DONE them? And it's easier to read so =P I'm going to scratch off the stuff I HAVE done. =)
Appearance
I have/had piercings besides the ears.
I want piercings besides the ears.(actually that's a maybe)
I have many scars.
I tan easily.
I wish my hair was a different color. (either I'd go with the natural highlights OR do some crazy electric blue or neon pink streak or smt =P which I probs won't do)
I have friends who have never seen my natural hair color.
I have a tattoo.
I want a tattoo.(this is smt to ponder abt in the future)
I can be self-conscious about my appearance. (which girl doesn't?)
I have/had braces. (normal people take abt 2 years, since I'm not normal and had horrible, stubbornly locked in place teeth, it took me THREE, wait no FOUR years until I took it off. Not to mention, I've had it twice. Half a year when I was still like 9-because I had such icky teeth I had to do a "preparation" for it, until I was like finally 11. It sucked the first few years when I just started, I tried to get my mum to forget abt the appointments and miss them. I felt like I was on a diet the three days after my dentist appointment since they tightened them every time, and it hurt to eat. Slowly my teeth got "better" so I actually wanted them off fast. Oh and? I had to have 6 teeth plucked out JUST bcz of these braces. And now I'm on retainers...every night. I'm glad I suffered through it though, atleast I can smile without shocking people with my disastrous teeth back then (what can I say, bad inheritance from my parents+bad dental hygiene back then = bad case)

I have more than two piercings.
Embarrassment
Disney movies still make me cry. (probably, some)
I’ve laughed so hard I’ve cried.
I’ve glued my hand to something.
I’ve laughed until some kind of beverage came out of my nose.
I’ve had my pants rip in public.
I’ve touched something sharp/hot/etc to see if it would hurt. (why the heck would people do that?)
Health
I’ve gotten stitches.
I’ve broken or dislocated a bone.
I’ve had my tonsils removed.
I’ve had my wisdom teeth removed.
I’ve had chicken pox. (Got it back in 06 on my BIRTHDAY. I caught it from either a friend that was on a holiday with us in Japan-(her mother didn't even know she had pox, we only knew she kept on scratching and she had a fever==) or from a classmate. Oh, not to mention people were REALLY scared on catching it after I found out I had chicken pox, since I brought a birthday cake into school that day and guess what? I was the one blowing out the candles. *oh my* but no, luckily no one caught it from me =P)
I've had malaria.
I've had typhoid.
I've had jaundice.
Travel
I’ve been on a plane.
I’ve been to US.
I’ve been to Europe. (I've been to a couple of European countries, cept guess what? I was like 3. I only have photos as memories =(. )
I've been to at least one other country.
I've never been out of my country.
I’ve driven/ridden over 200 kilometers in one day. (does being in the car count?)
Experiences
I’ve gotten lost in my city.
I’ve seen a shooting star.
I’ve wished on a shooting star. (I was on a residential trip in year 6, we were on the beach at night and I wished for a pet dog. (we had to give our pet dog away when I was younger bcz I was sick and my mum couldn't take care of it) and a month later, we bought a dog =D)
I’ve seen a meteor shower.
I’ve gone out in public in my pajamas. (I actually hate it when people do this, but I only did this like once? bcz I was sick and had to go to the doctors...)
I’ve pushed all the buttons on an elevator. (not ALL, I only press on unnecessary buttons when I want to get the cigarette smoke out of the elevator)
I’ve slapped someone. (not in the face)
I’ve kissed someone underwater.
I’ve chugged something.
I’ve crashed a car.
